patternless boa???

mdc May 31, 2003 12:09 PM

Hi all,
I just wanted to see what you all thought of this boa. Personally, I think it is way overpriced since it is unproven, but in many ways it sounds and looks like a Motley, but not quite. I am interested to learn more about it, so I thought I would check here to see if any of you have seen this boa before. Check the link below for the pics.

IMO it is hard (not impossible, lol) to justify that much for any snake much less one that you don't know whether the trait is genetic or not. Here is one that popped up in a litter I produced this year. It's pretty close to no side pattern and very reduced overall. The occasional aberrent pattern might be worth a little more than normal, but for 5k it better talk!

You never experience life until you have kids..then you realize what you should have done rather then what you did do

There are many boas produced in this country and brought into this country every year with weird patterns but 5k is a little high. If you're looking to buy it i would say NO, because if anyone including myself (I've been checking this snake out for a little while) thought it was anything of importance we would of scooped it up a while ago and not for 5k lol. They'll sell it when they realize what it's worth, because it's not truly patternless just faded.
