I live in maine and currently have 4 spotted salamander juviniles about 4 inches long. I found them over the summer some in my pool and even an adult about 7 inches. they are eating good on crickets and always live in a moist terarium. Ive had them sice about july and figure they were born in the spring. Today i found one floating the water area in the tank. is there any way to tell if there pregnant. Can someone please help me and give me some breeding info so i can prepare. Theve already started cooling period and i want to breed them. How should I do so?
