This is what is soooo frustrating. Beanie is not dehydrated!
In fact, she is very well hydrated! She drinks freely from
her water dish which I have observed on several occasions.
When she pees, she really pees! I have had 3 very good exotic
vets say she is not sick. According to all the information
I have gotten my hands on, shedding is an indication of health.
Beanie has been shedding for the last month. In addition, all
bloodwork is normal.
I have found someone in another state who has been dealing with
the same situation for 2 years. It started right after
becoming gravid and needing a hysterectomy. Everyone keeps
telling me she is dependent on me for feedings but I do not
believe it anymore. I think it has something to do with hormones.
I will be talking to this other person soon and maybe together
we can figure this out.
