Marbled gecko? What do I do?

Langi Nov 15, 2003 01:06 PM

I just got back from a herp show where I won a Marbled gecko. I usually do months of research before getting a new herp but I know next to nothing about this guy. I was told to keep him in a ten gl, repticarpet, a hide, some fake leaves and a climbing log. Will he need an UTH sice he doesn't spend alot of time on the ground. And what size crix can he take? They told me he was nearly full grown. Thanks alot, I got to go look for some care sheets now.

I forgot to mention that he has one red dot on each of his back toes. I didn't think he is supossed to have these so I think they may be mites. I've never delt with mites before, how do I take care of them?

First you should tell us, what species it is. There are several gecko speies out there which are called marbled gecko. These are as diverse as Gekko grossmanni and Christinus marmoratus
