Hey everyone i know this might be off topic but i wanted to know if i could get a reply here seeming as the rodent site isnt working for me at all... I just purcahse 7 new boas, and now that they are hear and all set up i would like to make a good contact for feeding them. Before these 7 my snakes have all ate f/t and they have never missed a meal with the exception of some shed/feed cycles. I was wondering if there was any one who breed feeder rats in Southern California, anywhere from Santa Barbara-San Bernidino-San Diego-Long Beach. We are willing to drive to come and get them but i just need a contact who will have some rats for us, We usually get them from Joe Romely who is great guy but he hasnt had rats for us for a little while now and these guys are ready for some food... so to all you southern cali people out there, who do you get your rats from?????

I would highly recommend contacting Mike at Isis Reptiles. Mike and his wife run one of the cleanest operations I have seen. I purchase medium mice, large mice, and rats from him and have for the last couple of years. Well fed, good size, clean, properly packaged, etc. He is in Ventura which might be a bit of a drive for you so you will probably want to place an order that will last you for several months.
