Question on preparing a snow peas, beans, grapes, taters and pumpkin!

Ok, I'm not a vegetable or fruit person and don't have much exp with either so bear with me here.

With snow peas do you actually take the little peas out of the pods or cut up the whole thing and put it in a salad?

Do I use canned green beans or fresh and same ? as above regarding pods?

What kind of pumpkin do I get? The only kind I'm familiar with is the Halloween kind but I know there's a different type?

Sweet potatoes. Serve raw? Do I peel?

Is there a trick to skinning grapes? Haven't actually tried yet so it may be easy but can't imagine it is.

Skinning grapes is easy. Use a sharp knife (pearing knife works great) cut/slit the skin down one side and it will peel right off.

That was easy. They certainly are pretty strange looking when they're skinned.

destroyed in the cooking and canning process, frozen usually has salt in it.

Use the whole snowpea or greenbean and shop real fine, peel the skin off the sweet potatoe and pumpkin and use raw, shredding them or put all together in a s small food processor you can buy for $10 - $15 and let it chop them to perfect size. I serve them over their salads.

BTW... yellow squash they love too, but you have to keep it separate from the other veggies when refrigerating or it gets mushy with them to fast.

Cheris Salad

and I have a question.

I think I may be misunderstanding the recipe because when I put it all together it looked like the greens were a very small part of the whole salad.

I made sure to keep the fruit separate but the salad still looked like the majority of it was made up of the vegetables with only a few pieces of greens here and there.

When you get a chance can I please see a picture of how your finished salad looks? The one I made just doesn't seem right at all. Thank you!!!

I think you may have missed this part:

You can mix different items to give them variety until you know which they like best, but I try to give 2 main greens, 2 vegetables and 2 fruits daily

Slice or tear greens into small pieces and set into a small container with lid, then either chopped finely, grate or in a food processor dice up the vegetables, you can sprinkle over the salad and store it that way or keep in a separate container and sprinkle over the greens when you feed

We sprinkle the veggies over the salads, like a topper, but cut up fresh greens daily or ever few days, we do not mix them all together at once.

and the greens are after you chop them up fine

I don't have a picture of the our salads alone, but here is one with the bowl of salad in the picture
