stubborn frilly

herpy Nov 15, 2003 02:38 PM

Ive had my C.B. frilly juvenile now for a few months. They are a little different then other lizards Ive kept. My question is how can I get him to use his water dish. He avoids it at all costs and I spray him all day so he can drink. Also he now only wants to eat out of a dish I put his food in. Theyre kindy picky huh.

Is the dish large enough for him/her to lay in? They like to soak their entire body in water (at least all of mine do). You should spray them a couple of times a day even with a large water dish.

Yes my water dish is a large cat litter pan and I keep it full enough for him to soak completely. The water is plenty warm and Ive tried to make sure branches and a rock inside the dish allow easy access. He just jumps out if I put him in. Thanks alot for your reply!
