cage material help

ToothAndNail Nov 15, 2003 03:21 PM

i'm builing a large cage for 2 argus (8'x4'x4') what would be a good material to use on the interior of the cage, as far as waterproofing, and animal safety.

I am going through the same process, in am going to need to build another cage for my argus crosses. I am going to use melamine, it is like a plastic coated particle board that is smooth, safe to the animal, easy to clean and moisture resistant.
Its bigest drawback is its weight, this stuff is heavy! At least it is pretty cheap, about as much as 3/4" plywood at my sources.
