What is the average quaritine period?

alebron Nov 15, 2003 05:50 PM

At the philly expo I bought a very healthy female blizzard. Yet I don't want to add her to my other geckos. So how long I should quaritine her.

I quarantine for 60 days. I have bought very healthy looking leos that did show problems before the 60 days were up. Early on I cut it a bit shorter (if they looked good and came from a reputable place) and I'll never do that again. Speaking for myself, 60 days minimum.

60-90 days is standard. I split the difference & do 6 weeks, unless they turn up ill & it takes longer than that to cure them.
