Help...I just recieved my first bearded dragon...Help

Robert Nov 15, 2003 08:36 PM

Hello all...I aquired a baby bearded dragon 2 days ago...It appears to be very healthy except for the fact that it has just a little stub for a tail...I have been wanting a bearded for a while, so I have the heat light, ceramic heater, and uv light...He has settled in nicely to his home but I'm not sure what and how much to feed him...I have fed him 1 dozen pinheads and a little bit of romaine lettuce twice a day...Any and all information about bearded dragons in general will be greatly appreciated...

Thanks alot,
Robert Remendowski

Whatever you do dont feed your bearded dragon mealworms as i just learned the hard way. I fed my bearded dragon 3 mealworms and the next day she started twitching. Also remember to give them calcium dusted crickets daily. And also give em more variety besides romaine lettuce like collard greens and green beans.
