after marlene shed last weekend, she stopped pooping every night. instead of her usual small poops & urates each night, it's this bigggg capsule of poop & urate... it's not broken up & watery... it's pretty much the same... and it comes every 2 or 3 nights, which has me worried. i dont think she's impacted because she's been on paper towels since i 1st got her in september and has been eating and shedding normally. each night she eats about 10 mealies that are dusted with calcium & repitive and tonight, she received her saturdays-only treat of ONE wax worm. she hasn't lost weight and is still pretty active and drinking her water. any ideas?

if it matters to any helpers,

the day temps are 84F - 88F (using light bulb and an open window...since it's been cloudy here, there's not much heat coming from the window)

the night temps are 78F - 84F (using a red light bulb)

there is a UTH on the warm side of the tank under the humid hide

I've only had geckos for a couple of years, but I don't think it's anthing to worry about. As long as she is still pooping, I don't think she is impacted. Mine do not always poop everyday, they get off schedule just like humans do I suppose. Well, I hope this helps. Good luck.

Whew thanks, coz this is the first time she's ever been off schedule with her pooping. The poop looks normal - just a lot bigger now that she goes every 2 or 3 days! She eats A LOT and is active, been on paper towels... good temps... so I just got worried hehe~ i should calm down hehe THanks for the help!
