Deb,
. How big is your BRB? If it is a little one it will dehydrate if the humidity in your house is low. The indoors humidity is usually well below 50% during heating or airconditioning season and this will dehydrate a little BRB. 65 degrees is less than ideal for BRBs but they will survive for quite awhile without getting respiratory problems at that temperature. When BRBs escape they nearly always go into the closest tight hiding place they can find and stay there. They will get inside furniture or walls if they can find an opening. They will get into bookcases and hide behind the books. In a closet they will hide in shoes or climb up inside the hanging clothes. Many cabinets in bathrooms and kitchens are installed with a small gap at the top of the kickboard. This is hidden by the framework of the cabinet and it makes an excellent snake hiding place.

>>I read here, but now I have a problem. My BRB is loose in the house somewere. I hope he's still in the house. Been a week & it's cold. My house is about 65 most of the time and I'm wondering if I don't find him, if he'll sleep where ever he is for the rest of the winter. Deb
