We make our own. If you have a blender you can make it. You can find blenders real cheap in the thrift stores for about $5 if you don't have one. We buy our supplies in 50 pound bags, however we are feeding over 10,000 crickets a week. So we usually do 50-100 lbs when more is needed. We have a stone mill & grain grinder plus the blender. You can get most the stuff you need from either the super market, the pet store, local herb store and make it yourself and save money and most the time make a better gut load. We havd tried many of the commercial ones available and some really weren't too bad. However many contained corn as a filler and a few had the shells from the sunflower seeds and the hulls off the oats included in the meal.
We also use a product called Prozyme which we give to chams that need that extra boost. This product aids in the digestion of food. Really puts weight on your chams.
There are several recipes out there, or if you send us an e-mail we can give you the one we used when we just had a blender to process with. reptayls@yahoo.com

>>I want to buy some gutload food for my feeders, but dont know
who to get it from. I have seen cricketfood.com post gutload food, and it looks like good stuff. The only thing is, I have seen other gutloads from other companies that look just as good. So who do I get it from? I was leaning more towards cricketfood.com because they also sell "salad topper" and I want some of that. I just need some advice here. Thank you, jrbl
