I didn't see the parents, but I'll see if I can get a couple pics. I haven't see any pics of the parents of my Delaware corns either. It's great to see the corns grow and change without having a pic of theparents and predetermining what it should look like. Normal locale corns are variable in their own range. Look at Okeetee corns. The corns in Jasper County can be bright or they can be dull. Not evey corn from Jasper County is like the bright colored ones we thing of when you say Jasper County. That doesn't mean they aren't nice. I trust my Louisiana corns won't turn out to be the best looking corns from Louisiana, but they are at the top of my list of corns because they are true Louisiana corns as are my Delaware corns. It looks like the LA corns might turn out having darker colors than the Okeetees we think of. The person I got these from got a pair of Phil Peak's Kentucky corns this past year.
I'll keep you posted on the LA corns and my Delaware corns. I was going to check with Phil Peak sometime on his Kentucky corns. I contacted him two years ago. I think most of the babies that year went to Zoos or University or something like that.
