Im putting a panther in a cage soon as well. IM using a ficus tree, a hanging basket with pothos, and a croton.

Yeah a big ficus tree is the traditional way and the simple way to fill a cage. Find one that's a few inches shorter than the cage. I like to include something else in there also, and I really like a small vining ivy plant. I rig up a stand for one that will hold it up off the cage bottom and it adds to the look nicely.

put a normal ficus like everyone has said and then get a creeping ficus. these are vines that will clid to anything and grow up it.

you can propagate like and ficus then allow it to grow up the tree or my fav have it grow up the cage walls.

you can also make a curtain with this stuff it get really long drap it over a branch to make a wall across the cage.

this plant needs lots of water and bright light to grow fast. It is a very hardy plant.

Hi-

You will want a combo of both plants and branches/vines. Ficus are the common plant of choice, but are know for dropping there leafs depending on the type you get. Some more hardier plants that can take lots of water without there roots rotting are the Pothos and Umbrella. Depending on the age of the pardalis you will find the older chameleons will prefer branches and vines such as bio-vine to walk on and bask on rather then plants. So make sure you have a combo of the two, the plants for keeping up humidity and providing a place for the dripper to drip on, and branches/vines for the chameleon to walk on. It is hard to find smaller trees that provide both. Hope this helps!
