I am looking for a digital cam with auto zoom and focus, particularly interested in macro shots.

Could you guys recommend a user friendly camera for a technology challenged nerd?

Thanks

The canon Powershot s400 is what im using now. It got the best reviews and it never disappoints. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. check out this link for some reviews. www.dpreview.com.

See!

This is a tiny hatchling garter snake. He was thinner than a pencil.

This is a shot from an old Sony Cybershot. It's so old.......it only has 1.3 mega pixel images, but still takes great shots. The new models are awesome, and are much easier to use than all of the other brands. Check them out before you buy. I know nothing about camera, and these take great pics. Here's a closeup of a hatchling pastel.
