>>Got the sump up and running...it is great. Stress free the way to be. Anyway, I have no filtration system in the water line, is one necessary? I was looking at some of the inline filters(chemical, mechanical, and UV), and I don't know which would be the most beneficial...if any. How about just keeping the water changed?

Hey Matt,
UV filtration would be way overkill for a dart vivarium. Since darts dont soak in their water source for any great length of time anyway, a filtraion system probably isnt necissary and simple water changes would do the trick. I will be using an external canister filter for my next 75 gallon vivarium, but thats mainly because I need the pumping power and I dont want to have a huge ugly water pump inside the tank. So really, how you want to filter (or not filter) the water in your tank is completely up to you and your budget. If you did have a filter with some carbon and zeolite in it, that would cut down on your water changes. Good luck,
