My newly aquired baby geckos are eating live food, but either throwing up the food or pooping it out partially undigested. They have an appt to the vet's first thing tomorrow, but they're so thin that I'm worried about them surviving that long. I've been supplementing their live food diet with a baby food mixture and rehydrating them by placing them in a wamr bath-- I feed them by dropping the mixture on their noses while they're in the bath. They eat and drink during this process, but it stresses them out to no end. They have quit basking and spend almost all of their time in the hide now. They are also petrified by me, which I can totally understand.
So how do I feed them the baby mixture and ensure proper hydration without stressing them out to the point where they become even more immunocompromised? Should I just leave them alone until I take them to the vets? Any opinion is highly valued, please help me decide what's best for them! Thank you.
