my leo, mealworms, & flukers stuff -- questions >>

aimee_s Nov 16, 2003 03:34 PM

hi

for my leo, this guy gave me some flukers stuff for free. he's been gutloading his crickets with the flukers CRICKET QUENCHER gel cubes for a water source and flukers IGUANA DIET BLUE DIAMOND FORMULA. I'm assuming he thought it was the cricket gutload... lol but I was reading the ingredients and it is pretty much ...

alfalfa meat, ground oats, ground corn, wheat middings, ground soybean hulls, soybean meal, dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, salt, etc. etc.... some vitamins.. but u get it right - those are the main components...

do you think it'd be SAFE for me to gutload my mealies in this? and use the flukers cricket quenchers for my water source?

any help is appreciated! thanks!

I hope it's safe, because thats what i'm using. Mostly. I'm using Fluker's High-Calcium Cricket Feed for gutloading my mealworms, and giving them the Calcium Fortified Cricket Quencher as their water source. It's been wroking well for me so far. But if it is unsafe, let us know =)

but its a different gutload meal... instead of the fluker's cricket feed, it's the iguana one... i'm just wondering if that one is alright

I don't think it would hurt to include that in your gutload, as long as it's not the only thing you're gutloading them with.
