Diamonds

nebo Nov 16, 2003 03:50 PM

Hey all,

I don't really know anything about Diamond Pythons, but I saw a few on television a few days ago and was completely hooked. I currently own a few Ball Pythons and have enjoyed them for several years, but I'm also looking to experience additional breeds and the Diamond looks fantastic. So yeah, any opinions or suggestions about where to find info, how to get started, etc. would be really appreciated.

You realize that hatchling diamonds are about $800 each, right? If you don't have that type of money to plop down, I'd suggest starting with another carpet python--either a jungle, coastal, or an Irian Jaya. If you're really set on the look of diamonds, you could also go with a diamond X jungle cross, although I personally prefer either pure jungles or pure diamonds to the crosses.
