I will be getting Ra a girlfriend but I want to buy a bigger tank for both of them to live in first. How big a tank (in gallons preferably) am I going to need in order to house 2 Malis?

i have rico and his girlfriend in a 50 gallon and they are doing fine, but bigger is always better. Actually right now they are under their "basking area cave" rico is on the bottom and hif girlfriend has her head right on his on top of him. They are always together and get along great...no problems yet knock on wood!

Hi,
I keep Draco and his girlfriend Pumpkin in a 4.5ft x 2ft cage that I built myself. When I wanted to get Draco a girl I too was looking for aquariums, but for the size I wanted (4' ) they were super tall, and super expensive ($200 ). So, my Dad helped me build a cage out of plywood, he's very handy like that, and I'm sure you can build one easy. If you deffinately want to get an aquarium, I would say....Hmm, I lost the booklet that told me the dimensions for the # of gallons....I think it's a 55gallon breeder or something. I would go with that as a minimum
