Getting into herps...a lot, I want another lizard, but I need help...

smurfskill Nov 16, 2003 04:41 PM

Here's my situation, and I'm open to suggesions.

I don't have a very large room, I have 1 bearded dragon, I have a normal schedule, work (or school...alternating) and I go out at times. So I guess, a small species, or just not as large asa beardy can get. I was thinking leopard gecko's, but I would like to know about other kinds of lizards. They don't have to be super tame, because a lot of my physical attention would probably go to mr. wiggles (thanks to ludacris, and to him for saying something that ridiculous and untrue...because I don't think anyone calls him mr. wiggles...that's his name)

Crested geckos! They are nocturnal and prefer room temps., so you don't need any supplemental heat or lighting. There feeding requirements are very easy. They eat insects and pureed fruits. In fact, you can raise and maintain them on a non-prey diet. All my Rhacodactylus eat the t-rex formulas exclusively, no insects at all.
good luck
