help, my pine snake is twitching!

pimpbot007 Nov 16, 2003 05:37 PM

i just noticed that my pine snake is twitching pretty bad, he has never done this before, i dont know whats wrong with him. i got mites in one of the snakes i got shortly ago and have used black knight spray to rid myself of them, could this be why he is twitching? none of my other snakes are showing any bad signs or behavior. he is the smallest snake i have though. any help would be greatly appreciated

Agreed, but until then remove the snake from the enclosure it was in. Rinse the snake off and put the snake in a different, untreated enclosure if possible.
I had a similar episode once with a western hognose that was treated with Black Knight. This snake ended up being fine after a couple days. Hopefully, your pine will make a full recovery as well. Good luck,
Chris
