Few questions

How long does it take for a new leo to eat?

Is it OK for a Leo to have a wet stool once in the while or it is a sign of parisites?
This is because my older female just had a semi wet stool. I am worried because right now I am quaritining the new leo, and I hope I didn't transmit any disease.

Sometimes new leos will eat as soon as they're in the cage. Seems like most eat in one to three days, but a couple of people here have had new ones that didn't eat for five days.

As far as the stool, I wouldn't worry about it unless it continues to be off. If the temperatures are changing where you are, that could be it. I've noticed some of mine have a water ring around their stool when the temps are off and that's a sign I need to bring the temp gun back out to check. Do keep an eye on her stool but no reason to panic.

To keep your original leopard gecko as safe as possible, feed and clean her first. When you're done with her for the night THEN take care of the new one. Of course, you want to wash your hands inbetween as well as after taking care of the new one.

Good luck to you and all your critters!
