pacman changes colors

beefkake7 Nov 16, 2003 09:57 PM

i was just wondering if pacman frogs change colors from time to time, because mine does. he goes from his normal lite green color to a dark brownish color. i wanted to ask this, because someone told me that if a pacman i cloudy then he could be sick. well mine is (cloudy) if you will, and he is doing fine. thanks

Mine changes color Im guessing depending on his lighting and temp. When I first turn on his light in the morning, he is a darker brown. As the day goes on, he turns a lighter shade of brown. Also, the cloudy eyes could mean that he is getting sick and it could also mean that he is ready to shed. I soak mine in lukewarm (not hot) water in a container separate from his tank, like a small butterdish or something, and his shed tends to come right off.
