Regarding the UVB argument>>>>>>>>>>>

DogStar Nov 16, 2003 10:06 PM

I have four lizards, an adult female, a 9 month male, a 5 month female and a 4 month male. The adult is brumating but the 'kids' are still awake. However none of them seem to be thriving, eating less, not moving around a ton. This is why I decided to give the UVB a chance again. This past summer I noticed the adult female getting brighter and more active when exposed to UVB.

When I move into my new place I am going to set up the kids with UVB bulbs and see how it goes. I will report my findings here. Maybe that isn't so scientific, but I think personal experience is just as important, especially when there is a lack of the 'official word on UVB'
I read all of the arguments between Cheris and Axe, and Azteclizard and found one thing that got my attention. (This is MY OPINION and I am taking them for their word) Cheris and Axe have experience with beardies getting better under UVB. Azteclizard does not. I'm very certain his dragons are healthy and ok, but he has said nothing to the effect of "I took mine OFF of UVB and they got better" or "they are still fine"
I'm scientific-minded, I do better with an experiment that yeilds results than with something that is not tinkered with.
And Please, I am not trying to step on toes here, I dont want to anger anyone.
I am going to try it, see what happens.

I'll let yall know
