I have about a 5 foot male blonde trans pecos rat snake. He just got over a minor respiratory infection and today I came to discover that he had a minor case of mites. Not infested but I did see one crawling around him. I let him crawl through my hands and through a wet paper towel but no more were to be seen. I'm positive it was a mite because I've dealt with the bastards before. I always use sevendust to get rid of my mites so I was wondering if using the sevendust will cause his respiratory infection to come back or if it will be ok? I've had him about a week I don't guess that the pet store took very good care of him. I knew he had a minor respiratory infection but I had no idea about the mites or I wouldn't have gotten him. The respiratory infection is all clear and he just shed last night so he has become very active since I got him. He hasn't fed since hes been with me but he has deficated 2 times so I know he is a good eater. Just wondering if the dust will harm him because of his respiratory infection. Thanks.
