I went to my local pet store ( not a chain store) today and was looking at their new corn hatchlings.
They had about 20 in a 28 quart rubbermade box. Before I started looking through them I asked if they ever produced any Anerys. He said every once in a while but he hadn't seen any in these clutches.
Well, I started looking through the hatchlings and saw a few amels, a couple of amel motleys, normals, hypos, ghosts and snows and then in the very corner I found the little guy pictured below.....
Is this an Anery or just a dark normal?
I bought it anyway.
What do you think?

To me, the eye color gives it away, you don't generally see a normal with those blue/grey eyes. And the absence of any orange or brown screams Anery as well.

Yeah, that looks like one awesome anery A. Next time put him against something that isn't black or white or anything in between so I can stop losing my hair

When I saw the little guy it definitely looked Anery to me.
That's why I went ahead and bought it. I figured if some of his breeders were throwing ghosts then there was obviously Anery in there somewhere.
It will be interesting to watch it grow.
thanks
