abandoned bd sick?

reptilicus81 Nov 17, 2003 09:05 AM

My neighbors left me a 1 year old female beardie. They told me they don't want her, and that their son hasn't been taking care of her (aparently she hasn't been eating well for them for a couple weeks). She is adapting well to my house, but she still eats very little (only 1 or 2 small crix several waxworms and maybe a mouthful of vegis). I bought her an elecrolyte substance at the petstore meant to stimulate appetite, but I'm not sure if she is sick or just stressed out. She is improving and eating more everyday.....What should I do?
Thanks

If she is improving, that is a good sign, but.... I would get a fecal into the vet to rule out parasites, etc.

I also would cut down on the waxies.
