A question about Cresteds hiding in the substrate . . .

powergeckos Nov 17, 2003 09:10 AM

I've played around with substrate for my cresteds - paper towels - nothing - and bark (my old feeble mind is slipping - I can't remember what it's called - they use it for landscaping . . . )

I have some nice branches with artificial leaves around it - but one of my pair loves to snuggle in the bark chip substrate and not use the branches. Any reason?

I'm going to try some different combinations of branches and leaves, to see if that makes a difference. I was just curious for some more opinions/ideas.

they love to hide out and peek out from under the moss, or sometimes they are up in their branches...
