Anyone Breeding Phyllomedusa hypochondrialis azurea?

andersonii85 Nov 17, 2003 09:49 AM

I'm in the middle of cycling mine for breeding, which had worked in the past and was wondering if anyone else knew of an easier way of getting them to breed. I give them about a month of "dry season" (low humidity, warmer) conditions and then gradually boost the humidity. Any insight would be most helpfull.

Thank you.

I'm cycling mine as well. Easiest way would be get imports in January and pop them in a rain chamber. Since they are mostly collected during rainy season, you could kinda trick them that they are still in that season. just a thought.

Derek,

This is a good idea; however, I only work with captive bred animals. All of my breeders are captive bred, which goes for all of the species that I breed. Just my philosophy. Thanks for the idea though. It is appreciated.
