couple little Qs (and no talk of UVB!)

-at what size can you feed a beardie superworms?
-do we know anything about how beardie vision works? they seem to see movement from the side and hone in on something straight on. is this accurate?
-for the shelf liner users, ever had a beardie try to swim on it? :P i put dulce on it for the first time and she went absolutely nuts. not sure if she liked sliding around on her belly or hated it. and kellen seems to slip (he's the smallest). any suggestions?
thanks

Is the shelf liner you have rubbery and dimpled? Mine is. No traction problems.

eah same here. I buy the ones that are rubber and have traction. No problems at all.

seemed to love slipping and sliding around. She'd go to to a dry spot then right back in the puddle and flail around some more.

Mine do that as well, LOL. They love that. I use a needless syringe to give them water and the little bit that dribbles down thier chin they go nuts running and rolling in it. I always used the syringe cause I'm afraid to much water will raise the humidity to high. I take them out for misting, and just give them drinks by syringe.

Most of the time I mist mine right in the cage. The small amount of water in there won't raise the humidity hardly any at all. If it does I don't think it will last for very long. If there's a puddle that forms I'll let 'em slip and slide a bit then get the eccess out with a papertowel.

I live in Northern IN and it's not very humid here, though (right now, anyway). I have a hard enough time keeping the humidity up on my ball python enclosure and it gets a lot more misting than the beardie's.

Of course I also have an aquarium air pump on top of a small room hepa air filter for all 3 of my tanks because I smoke and would rather not subject my animals to it. That may disipate the humidity a little faster.
