baby bci question

peterfranklin Nov 17, 2003 12:10 PM

I just got a baby bci that is about 120 grams.
It has eaten an appropriate sized meal (pinky rats) the last two Mondays, but hasn't defecated yet.
Should I wait to feed it until it goes, or is it ok to feed it again tonight?
I read somewhere that when they're young, they have delicate renal systems; and not to feed too much without having a movement in between.
Thanks for any advice

I ahve never had any problems (15 years) of putting snakes on a 1 feed weekly schedule. The only time for obvious reasons I do not feed is when the snake is in shed, give or take a couple of days. You have nothing to worry about LMHO.
