I've seen baby Pieds range anywhere from $8,000 to $16,000. The more white it is and the quality of the pied on the animal will make it more expensive. Sometimes you'll see black or brown flecks in the white-blotched areas. The older the animal gets or closer to breeding age, the more expensive it will get. Proven breeders can get top dollar. I've seen pieds as much as $20,000. Baby 100% hets this year, it looks to be about $3,000 to $3,500 for a sexual pair. Of course by the end of the season, this may change.
