Here is my new enclosure. I have heat setup on both sides. A 250w mercury vapor flood on one side, and a zoomed power sun 100w spot on the other. The basking sites are between 115-120. Is that to hot. The ambiant is mid 80s

What I generally hear is between 105 and 115 for their basking spot. Thats a rubbermaid container isn't it?
No it is the largest vision tub.
What advantages does the vision tub have over a rubbermaid container? I could get a rubbermaid for 5-15 dollars and I see that vision tubs are quite a bit more than that. A rubbermaid won't melt from the heat from the heat lamps.
I don't know how the rubbermaid tubs hold up, the vision is very stable. It is much thicker than the vision cage. I bought them used for $100ea. I love them.
