1) When i begin to cycle my boas do I leave the light on for 7 hours and then how long should it stay dark?
2) Where can I find some website or what can I read on how to breed boas..
3) When the male stops eating do i put him with the female? And Do I feed the female When she is Pregnate or do I feed her after birth?

Now it is true that there are people that are more sucessfull than others when it caomes to breading boas. I am quazi sucessfull to not. I say this because this is only my second year breeding them. I think this year has been much more sucessfull than last year. I have taken more time and reviewed my notes from last year and dicussed with other breeders in my area.
I started earlier in the summer and feed my boas weekly on the same day and aproxamently the same time so that they were looking for their meal at that given time. I increased there size of the meal durring the summer as I noticed that the rabbits in my yard were getting bigger. I did this so that it would kind of mimic the natural progression of growth in the wild. Then as it became cooler and the rabbits started to become more scarce I limmited the size of the food.
I do not turn the lights on in my snake rooms where the adults are unless i have to. I use a red filterd flashlight to see. When I clean my cages (at least weakly) I place the male into the females cage or the female into the males cage. If I see intreast i leave them together, if i do not i do not. I have noticed that the male is more active when the female is placed into his cage. I do not cycle the animals as far as temprature but living in Maryland the temprature dips durring the night. I leave a window on the far side of the room cracked with the cage thermostats set the same that I had them set at all year. If the animals want to bread because of the "natural" conditions that I have set I feel that they will be healthier babies and on a more consistint baisis.

This is the way that I have bread my Boas not necessarly the best way for you.
