how often does your cham miss its target??

lele Nov 17, 2003 04:07 PM

I just watched Luna miss a cricket (in a cup) three times! i find it sort of funny b/c their eyesight is supposed to be so good, but then I got worried. I have them in a semi-transparent cup (deli-cup) and sometimes she tries to shoot them thru the container (from outside) so I make sure it is tipped or low enough where she won't do that, but out and out missing her mark???

What's your experience?

I've seen both of my veileds and one of my panthers miss its mark every once in a while. They get it on the second try though and I cup feed too.

Its so funny when my male veiled misses it, he gets so suprised, jumps back, then he acts like he's eating as to play it off like he caught something. I laugh every time.

Hardly ever

It might be the reflection of the bug INSIDE the cup against the plastic.

My cham sometimes misses if she is lazy and too far away before shooting or if shes at a wierd angle.

hmmm...I hadn't thought about that. I'll have to look tomorrow and see if it's an issue
