hello, yesterday i received a large red tailed boa from someone who didn't want such a large snake anymore. i could hear her breathing/wheezing as i held her, and when she is touched, but when she is alone in her cage she is silent.it sounds like she has a respiratory infection, but just not all the time. she eats and drinks and acts otherwise healthy. could this just be a symptom of stress in a new home? my vet said i could bring her in and he could give fluid treatment- but ive seen her drinking just fine. any thoughts, suggestions? any help is much appreciated! thanks!
