my new basilisk keeps shaking

gyke Nov 17, 2003 08:09 PM

A few hours after I brought her home I noticed that her toes were shaking on and off along with the muscles in her legs. She has no problem running around so I don't think its affecting her that much, but does anyone have any ideas what it could be or what can cause it? Thanks.

Can be MBD related, but in most cases its a symptome of vitamine B deficiency which first comes up under stress conditions. Even though symptomes will soon vanish, wehen the stress of moving is gone, you have to go for a very good supplement regime for this animal the next months. Especially you should give more B1 than usual.

Hope that helps
