Cricket Sizes???

pdelena Nov 17, 2003 09:10 PM

My little guy is almost 4 inches long. I've been to three separate pet stores and each one tells me to get a different size cricket. The first store said to feed him crickets that were almost 1/2 inch. The second and third store gave me crickets about half that size. What is a good way to measure how big the crickets should be???

the cricket size depends on the size of your leo's head. the crix should be about 1/2 to 3/4 the size of your leo's head

My leo easily indulges crickets the size of his head, but he is older and bigger than your leo... I would recommend 3/4 the size of his head for a nice big meal that he doesnt need to struggle to swallow
