Hi,

if you are talking about Gekko grossmanni, I would be very interested in helping you and getting maybe some information back. I am currently writing a book on husbandry of species of the genus Gekko and found out that even though tons of marbleds were imported during the last years, there is almost no breeding succes. Even my marbleds are everything but prolific and I only have babies here and then. Also I am convinced that not all marbleds are sexually compatible. Obviously there are species from disjunct populations in the trade. A big (Males >10" softly coloured and a small (males

My male marbled is over 10", probably close to 11 or 12, he's wild & crazy so it is hard to measure him.
I wouldn't mind contributing to this site either. I'm a web/graphic designer and I've got tons of pics of my marbled.
Even one of him shedding, only time I've ever caught him (he sheds super fast)

Sounds tempting. The only problem for me is to find the additional time.
These days I am involved in the writing of several herp books, two of which have to be finished till Christmas.
One thing I may do relatively quickly is scan some Pics and email them. Any text writing may take time. Especially, because I must not publish thing in advance which will appear in the Gekko book.

the temporary url for the site is
http://members.lycos.co.uk/furrygecko/index.html
there is nothing on it yet as i am still trying to find information and the such.

BTW that gecko has lived out of his cage for 3 years?? does he ever try and leave the store? id love to do that.... unfortunatly im sure im german shepard would lvoe me too let him out of his cage too LOL

well the reason it has stayed in their so long is it is plenty warm in the store in the winter, and any insects that escape or get in it can eat since they dont spray insecticides.I dont know how long it will last now though as they just got in 4 tokays to let loose for insect control so it might start to get overpowwered.I hope this doesnt kill him because I have gotten used to going in every friday and seeing him.I went in last saturday and saw in his place a huge over a foot long tokay.I will try to see if the pet shop lady has seen himk lately as to see if hes still alive.they also have a golden gecko that has lived their as long.he lives under the counter.
