**Quick Question**

Demona Nov 17, 2003 11:12 PM

Hey folks...I'm taking my leo to the vet tomorrow for a check up...I took him when I first got him, but he was too young and small to get a wormer. Should I take a fecal sample with me, or will the vet just go ahead and do the wormer since it's never been done before? Also, if I do bring in a fecal sample, should I try to get a fresh one? Thanks!

Just bring a sample in case you need it. Try to get the freshest one you can, seal it up in a Ziploc bag so it doesn't dry out, and keep it in the fridge.

Awesome, thankya.

The receptionist was less than helpful about what I needed, but I was thinking about bringing a sample just to be safe...wasn't sure if I wanted to carry poo with me if I didn't have to though :P
