shedding question *kinda freaky*

Big Donnie BRASC May 31, 2003 06:59 PM

I have kept snakes for as long as I can remember , and today I discovered something that I've never seen before. I have a few red milk snakes (L. t syspila) One of them has only been with me for about 3 weeks, and shed about a week after I got him. Then today I moved him to a new enclosure, and I found ANOTHER shed in there!!! Has anyone elsa had a juvie snake shed twice within ten days?! This particular snake has not eaten anything but one skink tail since I caught him!

Thx

Sometimes snakes shed more often when they need to heal a flesh wound...but if your snake is unblemished, I can't imagine why there would be two sheddings so close together. That is odd.
