What does it mean when the........

When i put my male boa in my females cage. (I was cleaning out the males). I lookied in the cage and the females tail was moving like a worm..
What does that mean?

That's a good sign. That's the females way of releasing phermones and wanting to court. If your wanting to breed your boas.... you got a "go" from houston!

Hey! Can a male act like that? I've intoduced 2 males with one female and one male started to move his tail like a worm opening the cloaca and urinating a little. Is it normal? Or is it a female? I've probed it and seem to be a male. It is about 6ft and 4 years old.

the female did it when a male was introduced in to her enclosure. The male did it when he was in with a female and another male was introduced , competition I guess.

.. it is only a sign that the animal is experiencing some stress, not neccessarily an indicator that it is time to breed. It might be a warning or just nervousness.

Dave is also right to some extent. If both animals are ready to breed the tail wagging often precedes serious courtship and intromission.
