big enough to move in to a 75 gallon tank he is currently in a 20 gallon and I am ready to move him into the bigger one if he is ready.

hey,
yea i would say that he is big enough...but if he appears skittish and not happy with the 75 mave him back for a little while longer.....but he should be more than ready
