I am in love with the boa we got last weekend, and I had NEVER planned on getting a red tail. Amazing how things work out.
Anyway, I am going to attempt to convert him to F/T. Any tips? He is three years old and has always been fed live!
Also, we are in the blueprint stage of building his enclosure. I have an entrance foyer with enough room for a good sized one, probably like 5 feet wide, 7 feet tall and about 3-4 deep. I would love to see pictures of other's enclosures. We have some glass that is 5 1/2 feet long so I want to use it upright and make it look in the front like a bay window. That will also give room for a tree of some type. I was planning on putting a heat emmiter at the top and a large UTH in the bottom. Half of the top will be screen, the rest wood for the lights. There will also be ventilation holes on each side.
I would love to draw from your all's experience to make this a great enclosure...suggestions of things we might not be thinking of?
