I kwwp them. This is the responce I posted to you in the dart section in case you missed it.
I think they would work in there.(Your vivarium) You would need to add a bit of floating cork bark for them to rest on, but as long as there is no chance of the fish nibbling on their toes I don’t see a problem with adding a few. I got mine from a local store, and I think that they are wild caught. I am trying to breed them, but I think it will be awhile before I get any eggs. I know of a person that ordered some online, and I could try to find the site they ordered them off of if you are interested.

bgkast,
Keep me informed on any eggs, tadpoles you might get. I'd like to introduce a couple of these frogs to my setup, but all of the animals I currently have are captive bred. I don't want to introduce any wild caught animals that might carry parasites.
Thanks,
Tim
OK, I'll do that. I will also check with the person who orderd some online, and ask if they know if they are CB.

I am another person who keeps Rice Paddy Frogs (that bgkast was mentioning bought some online). I bought 20 from www.aquariumstuffers.com. I am pretty sure they are wild caughts. So far there is no information available to help captive breeding them. They are supposed to be prolific...
Right now I have 19 (one small one passed away). I have had males calling, but no mating. I keep guppies with them and some ghost shrimp. I can understand not wanting to get diseases into a well established tank, but there is only a 1% optomistic chance that you can find a captive bred source. If you do locate one, let me know. I would love to get information on how to captive bred them. And keep in mind that even captive bred doesn't mean parasite free.
