how much is a 8 ft. adult male red tail worth? it has a scar though about 5 inches.the reason i am asking is because i might get it in a trade. thanks,clint

I'm guessing it is a BCI. But an 8 ft. male? WOW!! That's a good sized one. Prices on snakes these days is totally overdone. I forget what snake it was but I saw a price tag for $40,000. That's right, forty-thousand for a snake. I'm sure it was some kind of morph. Probably a ball python. But anyway, $200 sounds like a decent price. You don't see many 8 ft males so that would probably ask for $250-$300 but with the scare, $200-$225. I wouldn't give more than $250 for it. If you have a photo, i would like to see it. And also, if it is a Suriname or Peruvian, it will probably be worth more. Maybe $300-350.
