Check out this blonde!!!

This is a yearling female that is half related to the high contrast group of IJs we've been working with. She really stands out with the lack of black on her latter half. She looks even nicer than her sibling we also have.
She kind of reminds me of a certain pair that a certain someone here has!
Hope you like!

Who produced that one? Gary Quirk? Almost looks hypomelanistic.

it was produced by a local friend of ours. It is the same stock as ours but was outcrossed to a CH unrelated animal.
From what I remember, I believe the ones Gary used to have were of VPI stock and were not really anything to hoot about as far as color. Many of ours are VPI stock or VPI outcrossed stock but wegot our best breeder stock by buying two clutches, raising them up for a couple of years and picking out the best of the best. We did in fact have some siblings to our nicest ones that were not much to talk about. Granted they were relatively good looking IJs but nothing compared to some of their better siblings. This pair we have in particular were from parents that were so so.
So you never know what you can get just yet. But a couple more generations of selective breeding and then we'll start seeing some spectacular animals with clutches consisting of many more higher quality animals as opposed to a more mixed bag...just like the finer Jungles we are seeing these days from Leary, Turner and Willich.

I knew Gary Quirk didn't produce that snake. I just said that because of the resemblance to Anthony's IJs. I was thinking, though, that the pair that produced Anthony's were both WC, and not VPI stock. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

The adults that produced mine were WC, imported by Bob Clark.

However, Gary did produce some F2 animals from CBB animals, and I wouldn't doubt if they were VPI stock.

Here's a pic of one from his website...Definitely looks like some VPI Irian Jayas that I've seen (specifically Earth's Exotics babies).

...I'll email you when we decide to ship a couple of other things. We live so far from the airport now, it is hard to ship one at a time so I am hoping to coordinate it so I can send a few packages out at one time.
Have a good one, Anthony!
