?s about my Saharan and his cage

UroJade Nov 18, 2003 06:49 PM

sorry i dont have a picture of the cage yet i tore my film, its about 6x2x2 im going to be getting two females to live with him in it, i was going to get them last month but i had to pay vet bills for my new beardie, so i'll have to wait.

my saharan does this thing when he's soaking he sorta blows up like he's being pumped full of air like a little at a time like bigger bigger bigger small and he did that in his cage the other day after i returned him from his escape atempt so i was wondering if it was normal is it just his way of makeing him self bigger, instead of all at once like my mali?

i want to put someing in the bottom of his cage i was going to do birdseed but changed my mind i decided i want somekind of sand maybe i have this orangey colored stuff in my for my mali thats fine and soft but a little dusty when cleaning, but i want my Saharan cage to have maybe a more natural look is there somekind of desest soil thats safe to keep him on maybe someing him can dig in a little?

um i think i had another question but i cant remember now so i'll come back later

yeah u can use the zoo med desert sand, its real desert sand very fine and dustless, alot better then washed playsand which is not that fine and very dusty and u have to sift out the pebbles, but it will cost a lil more but i think its worth it for my uro
